Which best describes you?

Rent from any UAE property you let out. Only 75% of rent counts towards affordability.

Monthly commitments

Leave a field blank if it does not apply. Card limits count even when the cards are unused. Existing mortgage payments count too. Enter all applicants' payments in the one box, each payment once.

The price of the property, or the price you have in mind. The maximum mortgage and the downpayment below are worked out on it. Change it to see another.

What the calculator does

The calculator estimates how much you may be able to borrow based on UAE bank lending rules.

It looks at your income, your existing monthly commitments and your credit-card limits. It also considers the maximum mortgage available against the property price.

Credit-card limits can reduce your borrowing amount, even if the cards are not being used. Reducing your limits may improve your affordability.

We also test your mortgage repayment at a higher rate than today's, so your result is shown as an estimated range rather than one exact figure.

Your residency and the property price set the loan-to-value limit. The calculator applies it for you.

If you already have a mortgage, a bank may apply different loan-to-value limits when you buy another property.

Your information stays private. Nothing is submitted unless you choose to continue to the fact-find. The figures you entered go in with you. If you have already started the fact-find, it asks first.

Complete the fact-find and an advisor will come back to you within 24 hours with a clear view of your options.

Warning: If you do not keep up your repayments/payments, you may lose your property.
